Make sure to strap in because today, Perth-based producer Solsta is diving straight into the deep end with the release of his immersive debut EP Depth.

A diamond emerging from the rough of 2020 lockdowns, Solsta - aka Isaac Skarlatos - has been turning heads with his haunting soundscapes and entrancing dance beats. The 3-track treasure lives well up to its name, overflowing with sonic depth and meticulously layered synths interwoven as a hypnotising rush of dark electronica. Oozing with intoxicating bass and mystifying vocals, Depth is infused with an irresistibly ominous production, showcasing a slightly more sinister side to Solsta’s signature sound.

According to Solsta, the title track ‘Depth’ is a "track that's built a bit more to be played out. Something with a bit of oomph to it.” Appearing alongside 'Depth' is his previously applauded single 'Fragments', featuring fellow Perth producer PROJECT BEXX, which landed a Pilerats premiere and scored high praise from tastemakers at triple j, LUUDE, Hayden James, and Golden Features.

With the new year just around the corner, hold on tight because Solsta is only set to continue making waves as he plunges into 2022.
